How to remove submissions from a group
To remove movies from a group, go into the movies view (click on Movies in the left nav) and then click on the thumbnail view icon at the top right (the green rectangle). If you’re the moderator, you’ll then see a remove link under each movie. Otherwise, you’ll just see a remove link for movies that you own.
We know this is a bit confusing and we’ll make it easier to find soon.
Your submitted movie doesn’t appear in a group
If you submitted a movie to a group, and it does not appear in the group immediately, then the group is moderated. This means the owner of the group will have to approve the movie before it appears in the group. You can always leave a comment on the group page asking the moderator to approve your submission.
My video doesn’t show up in a group
You may have submitted a clip (i.e. a single video file) instead of a movie. These are actually different things on Jumpcut. Check the Clips section of the group for your video. If it’s in there, you submitted a clip.
You need to turn your clip into a Jumpcut Movie and resubmit in order to have it show up on the Group’s Main Page.
1. Hit Remix on your clip
2. Once you’re in the Editor, click Publish
3. On the Publish Page, choose the group you want to send to.
4. If you’re submitting to a contest, set your submissions to Private - Not Remixable.
