Update on “User Data Missing” error
Several people have experienced a problem when linking their Jumpcut accounts to Yahoo! IDs. The specific error message was “User Data Missing.”
We’ve identified the cause of the problem (special characters in Yahoo! IDs) and it will be fixed on jumpcut.com this evening.

Look you people are idiots… Obviously the lights are on - but no-body is home!!! Countless people since May 2007 have requested information how to save their edited work… But no response from support means this jumpcut service is load of crap! I sent countless hours editing my work but there is no :SAVE BUTTON….WHERE THE F++CING H+LL IS THE SAVE BUTTON!!! MAKE ONE OR CLOSE THIS LOWSY WEBSITE!

Its not possible to come back with the nick-name or password! I have tried it 3 times with new nick-name and new password which jumpcut was given to me per e-mail. Now i gave up! I dont like to read again “data is missing”.

I have still the Problem Data missing and can’t log in - nobody answers on support@jumpcut.com - i’m so frustrated - so i have to switch to eyespot.com although i would rather stay here.

A shame really. I’m on the look-out for alternatives to YouTube because I’ve been disappointed with YT’s quality of uploaded vids, which really boil down to inferior codecs. Jumpcut indeed does give better video quality than YouTube, yet these persisting problems have people scattering. I certainly hope they’re working night and day to resolve it, before their reputation goes completely down the drain.

Not fixed yet. When I try my login + pwd generated with “I forgot” link, I get “User Data Missing.”

A few months ago we started using Jumpcut as one of the tools in a workshop of editing video for mobile, the NGOs where I work. Unfortunately, now we can’t manager our our accounts and our content are all blocked, or at least I can erase my personal account.
It is unbelievable that months ago the same warning is posted - “We’ve identified the cause of the problem (special characters in Yahoo! IDs) and it will be fixed on jumpcut.com this evening.” (????!!!) - And so far nothing has changed.
Jumpcut was one of the best sites video editing online till Yahoo arrive and spoil everything… It is really a failure …
