What are Open movies?

Posted in Open by support on the October 3rd, 2006

Open Movies are unique to Jumpcut, and they’re very cool. Basically, an open movie is a movie that anyone can edit, sort of like a Wiki-Movie. That means that you can get a movie started, and then open it up so others can work on it. All you need to do is set the Visibility to Public and click the Open checkbox. Then the creativity begins.

Once a movie is open can it be closed? I tried making an open movie of mine private and then public again (withoug checking the open box) and it remained open.
    Thanks,
    Ken

You can change the movie back by clicking “Edit Movie Info” on the view page, then unclicking the “Open” box.
