Can someone delete an Open Movie?
Only the owner can delete an Open Movie, but anyone can edit the movie, so they could delete the contents. If you want to protect against this happening, make a copy first. We’ve made this easy for you: Just go to the view page and click the “make a copy” link in the Details section on the right. That will create a private copy that nobody can touch. Then you can set the original movie to Public - Open and you’ll be safe.

You did NOT make this simple for me!! There is NO “make a copy” selection on my view page. All I want is to have people watch my videos without re-editing them. I marked them private because that’s what I understood by your directions to do - but now no one sees them. Help me out here. I just want people to see my videos without messing with them.
Thanks,
Troy

The default public option allows people to remix your video and create their own copy, but your original version remains intact. Only “open” movies update into the same movie.

I've made a copy of my open movie, but I would like to change the name and can't find a way to do it. Instead of " copy" I'd like to change the "copy" part to a version number that I will manage by hand. Any help on how to make this happen will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken
